KINOKUNIYA, the largest bookstore chain in japan, is a leading importer of international products such as books, journals. Year 2006, the bookstore won a "Yahoo-award Winning Online Bookstore" award as Malaysia's best online bookstore.

KINOKUNIYA is a leading bookstore among Malaysia's bookstores. Not a bad thing as there is a large selection of books catering to almost every type of readers that Malaysia can throw up.

With this advantages, KINOKUNIYA has held an event to educate our youngsters how to get into books world and how books actually enriched our daily life. To be efficiency and functional, parents are welcome in taking part at the event.

A course special for parents to learn how to help their children to create the reading habits in their early years is offered and a demonstration session for parents to create reading interest among their children is also included.










The concept of the whole exhibition booth is an half opened book as you can see it clearly from both side of it. The top of the booth is a sign of KINOKUNIYA bookstore, allowing people to see it from upper view. This is also to block some of the scenery inside the booth so to create attraction towards people.

Once you reach the front of the booth you will see five half vertically circle lighting box indicate the ring joint of a book. Concierge area surrounded by plenty of books that are abstracted, same to the bookshelf located on the right of the booth.

There is reading corner allowing public to read some of our latest journals or books, a discussion area and tutor for those parents who are interested in out course, an online internet area for public to surf books from our online data base and if they are interested can immediately buy for it. Lastly is the membership application corner, located just behind the bookshelf.








Healing Trail

The concept of lighting trails show the curviness of a building. A physiotherapy center focus on athletes recovery and healing. Flash represent time and speed, same as healing. Athlete injured need time to recover. To create a routine of flash image, lighting trails is just that fitted.

The surrounding is surrounded by greens and grass. This is to lower down the sensory of noise in terms to reach the best performance of healing, in the same time decrease the heat climate While roof part designed to reach the natural sunlight in order to rejuvenate body.

project "60 EARTH HOUR"

2009 earth hour was held on march 28 from 8:30pm to 9:30pm, we also take part in a global event

EARTH HOUR is a global event organized by WWF and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate changes, we are pleased to take part in this event and here is our supportive installation
